Students obtain comprehensive training in television production, electronic news gathering, video technology, writing, reporting, editing, and program development. Furthermore, it enhances, promotes, and markets dynamic campus programs including nursing, communications, science and technology, the arts, military, mathematics, education, engineering, and modern languages to BSU-TV Channel 74 viewers.
BSU-TV provides valuable professional training, employment, and internship opportunities for students enrolled in communication classes. Students obtain hands-on experience in shooting, editing, studio, and field productions. This training affords students' employment opportunities with some of the top broadcast stations in the country, which include: C-Span, XM Satellite Radio Corporation, Channel 9, Fox Network, and Radio One Corporation.
