Graduate Programs

The Department of Computer Science is committed to excellence in scholarly activities and research; inter-departmental and inter-university collaborative projects are particularly emphasized. Key research areas include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Biomedical Information Processing, Computer Graphics, Computer Networks, Computer Systems and Cybersecurity, Database Systems, Data Modeling, Data Mining, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Image Processing, Parallel and Distributed Algorithms, Parallel Processing, Software Engineering/Programming Languages, and Virtual Reality.

Advanced degrees include a Master of Science and Doctor of Science in Computer Science.  In addition, the department offers Post- Baccalaureate Certificates in Computer Science.

The following specializations are available for the Computer Science Master's degree:

  • Cybersecurity specialization includes the fundamental concepts underlying the construction of secure systems with the use of cryptography to secure interactions.  Click for program details.
