Undergraduate Nursing Program Options
Students are admitted into the baccalaureate nursing program in one of three options.
- Traditional (4 years): Designed for freshman students who have completed the required general education courses to become eligible for admission
- Accelerated BS Nursing Option: A rapid-paced degree program for students who have completed some college courses or have already earned a bachelor’s degree
- RN to BSN (12-18 months): Designed for students who have an associate’s degree in nursing and are moving forward to earn their bachelor’s degree
The baccalaureate nursing program is approved by the Maryland Board of Nursing and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing. Graduates are eligible to take the state licensure examination to become registered nurses.
