Tutoring Services

Tutoring and Supplemental Instruction Program

The Tutoring and Supplemental Instruction Program, supported by Title III funds, partners with students  to make the academic experience a positive one. Our tutors, who are dependable and professional, are dedicated and committed to students' academic enrichment.

Request a tutoring session

You can request a tutoring session during any center’s hours of operation in two ways: walk-in and appointment.

A walk-in arrangement gives you the opportunity to receive tutoring assistance on the spot; whereas an appointment arrangement allows you to schedule a tutoring session on a day and at a time that work for you.  Please contact each center for more information.  For the PRISEM Center, please call 301-860-3999.

  • Walk-In: All tutoring centers provide walk-in assistance. Check center hours for specific times.
  • Referral: Your professor may recommend tutoring.
  • Mandatory: Some courses require students to seek tutoring services.
