Complete Your FAFSA

Complete the 2017-2018 FAFSA

The 2017-2018 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available on line at Submit your application as soon as possible, but no later than June 30, 2018. Your application must be received by your last day of enrollment in the 2017-18 school year.

New for the 2017–18 FAFSA, students will be required to report income and tax information from an earlier tax year. When completing the 2017–18 FAFSA, the 2015 income and tax information will be reported, rather than the 2016 income and tax information. Because of this, almost all tax return filers will be able to electronically transfer their tax information directly into their FAFSA by using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT).

When completing the FAFSA form, be sure to indicate Bowie State University’s school code -002062 to ensure they we receive your information.
