Purpose

The annual scholarship gala is the signature fundraising event for the Bowie State University National Alumni Association, Inc. (BSUNAA) to generate and provide scholarship funds to deserving undergraduate students at Bowie State University.

How Sponsorship Helps

Sponsorship investments help to raise scholarship funds for students at Bowie State University. Your contribution will positively impact students at Bowie State University and heighten the awareness of your business in the community. This year's fundraising goal is $50,000.

The Scholarship Awards Dinner Format

This year our theme is "Profiles of Excellence" and the BSUNAA is selecting alumni members of the community who have significantly contributed to the university, the Bowie State University. This award will be bestowed upon alumni who are making significant contributions to Bowie State University and their community through their time, actions, talents and dedications in five categories: volunteerism, legacy, community, leadership and philanthropy.  
The evening will begin with a one-hour reception followed by dinner, presentation of awards, and a dessert reception with dancing.
