M.E.N. (Mentorship Empowerment Network)
The Bowie State University Mentoring Empowerment Network (MEN) was created to be a pipeline of mentoring support services for elementary through college aged boys, teens, and men in the Baltimore/Washington community. This network will create a “support success” pipeline for minority male students starting in grade school all the way through beginning their careers, entering post graduate studies, or the military. This is achieved through creative programming, comprehensive mentoring, and relationship building.
This project is made possible by a grant in the form of an AmeriCorps VISTA member through the Maryland-DC Campus Compact. Our community partner is the Woodland Job Corps.
