Desk Assistant

The Office of Residence Life strives to provide a safe and healthy community for the students who reside in the residence halls on campus. The Desk Assistant (DA) is a critical component of the Office of Residence Life who assists ORL in achieving that goal. DA’s are student paraprofessionals who work a maximum of twenty hours a week by overseeing the safety and security of the front desk and main lobby of the residence hall while assisting fellow residents, staff and guest. DA’s also perform various clerical duties for the Residents Directors and the Central Office Staff. DA’s must display the University’s Core Values of Civility, Accountability, Integrity and Excellence at all times.
