Bowie State University’s endowment is made up of more than 100 funds totaling $6 million dollars, which support academic and athletic programs, signature initiatives, and financial aid for students in need.

Endowed gifts are a perpetual source of support for BSU and its quest to become the best comprehensive university in the nation. You now have the opportunity to double your gift and increase your impact at Bowie State University through the Bulldog Endowment Matching Gift Program. Through December 31, 2016, while funds are available, contributions to the endowed funds listed below will be matched dollar for dollar up to a maximum of $50,000.

Racing to Excellence Scholarship

The Racing to Excellence Endowed Scholarship was established in honor of Bowie State University President Aminta H. Breaux’s late father, Alex J. Woodley II. Visit Link

Endowed Chair

An Endowed Chair is a position permanently paid for with the revenue from an endowment fund specifically established for that purpose. Visit Link
