The Enterprise Support Services (Help Desk) team provides support and responds to the technology needs of the Bowie State University faculty, staff and student end user. The Help Desk team maintains computing standards and approves procurement requests for desktop, laptop and printing technologies. The team provides technical support of the computer environment across the institution.

Help Desk

Through the Help Desk, Enterprise Support Services receives calls from faculty, staff, and students and filters those calls to the responsible division. All calls are prioritized using our issue ticketing system; therefore, the duration of your wait time will depend on how critical your issue is and the order in which your call was received.​

The Help Desk Office is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Computer Labs

The Support Services team manages four open labs located on the first floor of the Thurgood Marshall Library.

Undergraduate Student Labs

  • Room 090B: 24 PCs running Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2016
  • Room 090C: 24 VDI terminals running Windows 10 and Microsoft Office, 7 MACs
  • Room 090D: 24 PCs running Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016, 7 MACs

Graduate Student Labs 

  • Room 090A: 27 PCs running Windows 10 and Office 2016
