Bowie State University Closed on Jan. 26 Due to Inclement Weather

Due to inclement weather, Bowie State University will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026. All classes, office operations and on-campus activities are canceled. Residence halls will remain open. Essential personnel should report as scheduled. Additional updates will be shared as needed. For more information, please visit BowieState.edu/weather.

Graduate Application Process

You must complete the following actions to be considered for admission: 

  1. Complete the online application and pay the non-refundable $50 application fee ($60 for doctoral programs).

  2. Official transcripts from each college or university you’ve attended. Transcripts may be submitted electronically at gradadmissions@bowiestate.edu or mailed to the Office of Graduate Admissions, Bowie State University, 14000 Jericho Park Road, Bowie, MD 20715.
  3. Submit additional required program documentation  to gradadmissions@bowiestate.edu or mail to:

NOTE: Do not mail copies of documents that you submitted with your application. Faxes of transcripts and test scores will not be accepted.
