Transfer Admissions

You must submit the following to be considered for admission:

1. Completed online application.
2. Official transcripts from each college or university you have attended, whether or not credit was earned, the program was completed, or the credit appears as transfer credit on another transcript. Transcripts may be submitted electronically at admissionsdocs@bowiestate.edu or mailed to the Office of Admissions, Bowie State University, 14000 Jericho Park Road, Bowie, MD 20715.
3. If you have earned fewer than 24 transferable college credits at the time of application, your official high school transcript is also required.

Disclaimer: Transcripts emailed from students are considered unofficial. Transcripts must be sent directly from the high school or college/university to Bowie State University in order for them to be considered official.

To be considered for admission, an application and all required documents must be submitted by the following priority deadlines*:

• Fall Semester – May 1 (Deadline for international students is May 15)
• Spring Semester – December 1 (Deadline for international students is December 15)

*International applicants must follow the International Admissions requirements
