Scholarship Opportunities
Bowie State students have access to an array of scholarships – each with its own set of criteria for consideration. Students MUST apply for private donor, department and external partner scholarship consideration by following the directions below.
Incoming Freshmen & Returning Students
BSU's Private Donor scholarship application for the 2026-27 academic year is open from November 1, 2025 – February 15, 2026.

Sign in using your BSU username and password (New students can find instructions to setup their account in their acceptance email).
Transfer Students
BSU's Private Donor scholarship application for Transfer Students for the 2026-27 academic year is open from February 15 – June 15, 2026. ONLY students who apply during this timeframe will be considered for available scholarships. Award amounts vary based on funding and student eligibility.
