Due to inclement weather, Bowie State University will be closed January 26-27, 2026. All classes, office operations and on-campus activities are canceled. Residence halls will remain open. A Thanksgiving Message from President Aminta H. Breaux

I wish to extend my appreciation to the Bowie State University faculty, staff, students, alumni, and friends who work diligently to advance the mission of the university.

And, in the spirit of the Thanksgiving holiday, I am pleased to announce the 3:00 p.m. closing of the university on Wednesday, November 22.

Best wishes for a wonderful holiday with your loved ones, and I do hope that we will all take a moment during this Thanksgiving season to reflect upon the many reasons we have to be grateful.
