U. S. News Ranks BSU among Top 20 HBCUs

I am pleased to announce that Bowie State University is now ranked in the Top 20 HBCUs on the U.S. News and World Report 2022-2023 Best Colleges list that was released yesterday. BSU rose six places from 24 to 18, a sign of the growing recognition of the quality of our academic programs and success in graduating students from diverse backgrounds. Our rank of 41 on the list of Top Performers in Social Mobility among regional universities in the north specifically acknowledges our success in graduation of students receiving federal Pell Grants.

BSU undergraduate programs in computer science and nursing earned recognition among the best in the nation and the university was included in the list of top public universities in the north.
