Earth Week: Stream Clean-up

Join volunteers from Bowie State University, the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay and the Collington Retirement Community for an Earth Day stream clean-up event.

Our crabs and seafood comes from the Cheaspeake Bay, as well as unique marine life beneficial to our environment. We want to keep our Bay clean and trash-free. This event will be the first clean up in this park, but the event is part of a wider, ongoing project with the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay.

The clean-up location is Horsepen Park, where our current students are conducting water-quality sampling of a Chesapeake Bay tributary.
