Black Wall Street Series: Building Wealth

6:00 PM

Black Wall Street Series-Implications Today to Building Wealth with attorney Kathy Stewart

On May 31, 1921, white supremacist terrorists attacked the Greenwood community in Oklahoma, killing up to 300 Black residents and burning over 1,000 homes. Greenwood was home to Black America's most affluent community in the country at that time and is often referred to as Black Wall Street. During this session, participants will learn some of the best strategies to build wealth in historically oppressed and marginalized communities today.
