Coast Guard Yard, Command Center & Station Visit

Come experience what it might be like to serve as an officer for the United States Coast Guard (USCG) by visiting the Coast Guard Yard in Baltimore during spring break. This trip is free to qualified freshmen, sophomores, and juniors less than 27 years old.

Event highlights:

• Depart the BSU Student Center by bus at 8:15 a.m. Thursday, March 24, and return at 3:15 p.m.
• The visit includes a tour of the Coast Guard Yard, the Command Center, and the Small Boat Station. Weather permitting, attendees may go out to sea.
• Lunch will be provided.
• Casual conversations with USCG officers, who will discuss types of jobs available.
• Register to indicate interest by Monday, March 21, 2022, at 5 p.m.
