AYANNA TWEEDY (’15) Athletic Director, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology

Speaker Bio 

Ayanna Tweedy ('15) is entering her third year as athletic director at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. She holds a Bachelor’s in Child and Adolescent Studies from Bowie State University and a Master’s in Higher Education from Southern New Hampshire University.

Since joining Rose-Hulman in 2022 as the first full-time athletics director, she has improved hiring practices, led facility upgrades, and advocated for equitable salary increases.Tweedy serves on the NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships committee and was named a Minority Opportunities Athletic Association board member. She was honored as the Nike Executive of the Year for Division III in July 2024.
