I-Corps Information Session

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Bowie State University (BSU) is partnering with George Washington University (GW) to strengthen entrepreneurship in this region. An award from the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Innovation Corps (I-Corps) program funds this partnership. This partnership is designed to support inclusive entrepreneurship opportunities beyond the DC-region.

The NSF I-Corps program prepares scientists and engineers to extend their focus beyond the university laboratory and accelerates the economic and societal benefits of NSF-funded, basicresearch projects that are ready to move toward commercialization. Led by Mrs. Johnetta Hardy (PI) and Dr. Guy-Alain Amoussou (Co-PI), the primary focus of this award is to provide the I-Corps training methodology to Bowie State  faculty to support the acceleration and expansion of its entrepreneurship academy and invite them into the National Innovation Network.
