Solar in Your Community: Maryland Solar Equity Initiative Webinar

The Solar Equity Initiative 2020 webinar (hosted by the NAACP Maryland Conference) brings together major solar industry partners and HBCUs to promote renewable energy in our communities and advance civil rights challenges in Environmental and Climate Justice along with Economic Development. 

The free webinar will invite community influencers, educators, homeowners, and recent college grads to learn about the issues of local climate change, and students specifically will learn about internships and career pathways in the industry and engage local recruiters.

President Breaux will be featured during the HBCU Roundtable Discussion and Mr. Jabari Walker will serve as a panelist in Session A: Solar in Your Community. 

Registrants are welcome to join each session or choose sessions that are of most interest.
