BSU Pride Month Series- Safe Space Awareness/Ally Training

10:30 AM - 1:00 PM

The Office of Multicultural Programs & Services and the LGBTQIA Resource Center aim to celebrate and recognize pride month. BSU Pride Month Series starts with Safe Space Awareness and Ally Training.

Safe Space training is an opportunity to learn about:

  • LGBT+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and related communities) identities
  • gender
  • sexuality
  • examine prejudice
  • assumptions
  • privilege

Safe space is a voluntary network of faculty, staff, students, and community members who believe that every member of the university and the broader community should have an equal opportunity to grow and learn in a safe and open environment.

Join the Zoom meeting here.

Both parts 1 and 2 are hosted virtually.
