Coast Guard Scholarship Program (CSPI) Information Session

The United States Coast Guard has protected Americans and protected American interests in U.S. ports, inland waterways, along the coasts, and on international waters. The Coast Guard offers a host of diverse and unique career paths that span a broad scope of interests, backgrounds, and skillsets.

Join us for an exciting information session with Coast Guard Representatives highlighting the Coast Guard College Student Pre-Commissioning Initiative (CSPI) Scholarship Program and other career opportunities within the Coast Guard. The CSPI Program is a rare partnership between the Coast Guard and HBCUs and Minority Serving Institutions, and Bowie State University is one of the few institutions in the state of Maryland featuring this scholarship program.

At the info session, attendees will hear from Coast Guard officers as well as current Bowie State University Student CSPI Program Scholarship recipients, who will share valuable perspectives of the student experience of participating in the CSPI Program and future careers in the Coast Guard.
