The Black Male Educator Pedagogy | Professional Learning Series

The Center for Research and Mentoring of Black Male Students and Teachers [CRM-BMST] presents the Black Male Educator Pedagogy Professional four-day learning series, devoted to the pedagogical development of Black male teacher candidates and educators. There are three levels of professional learning: 1) level 1 provides Black men with an introduction to five pedagogical approaches that the research literature has illuminated about Black male educators' pedagogy; 2) level 2 requires Black men to take a deep dive into learning more about one of the pedagogical approaches, and 3) level 3 focuses on Black men demonstrating mastery of the level 2 pedagogy. Participants will receive a letter and certificate for completing each level of professional learning.
