BLACK, BOLD and BEAUTIFUL: Expressions of Honor, Love and Culture by Broadie, alumni exhibition - Workshop andArtist Talk

The BSU Gallery of Art and the Department of Fine and Performing Arts present an alumni exhibition,  BLACK, BOLD, and BEAUTIFUL:  Expressions of Honor, Love, and Culture by Broadie. The DFPA is proud to bring back home one of its very own, Broadie, for a special alumni exhibition. 

The exhibition will run from September 9 through October 21 and features an accomplished artist, illustrator, and designer, Broadie (VCDMA, ’08). He is a renowned DMV-based graphic designer and digital artist whose works span the world of history, fashion, pop culture, entertainment, sports, and more. Most recently his work was featured as the cover and promotional artwork for the new season of the hit series, THE CHI produced by Lena Waithe now on Showtime.

• The exhibition opens at 12 p.m.

September 28, 2022

• Designer Workshop with students in the Art Resource Room/VCDMA Computer Lab, located in FPAC Rooms 2102 and 2103, 4-5 p.m.
  
  
• Gallery Talk and Reception with Broadie in the Gallery/Recital Hall in FPAC, 6-7:30 p.m.
