Native American Winter Holidays Shared Conversation Lunch

12:30 PM - 1:30 PM

The Office of Multicultural Programs and Services intentionally hosts shared conversations that are intersectional oriented each month. Intersectionality is a lens we employ in diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice education to highlight how our social identities create discrimination or privilege. In America we often celebrate winter holidays neglecting to reflect on how Indigenous people (Native Americans) engage in the traditional Western holidays (e.g.-Christmas). Please join two BSU Native American first year students shared their lived experience during this lunch and learn opportunity.
