Day 3: Strengthening the Ties between the CRM-BMST and TLPD to Better Serve Students

1:00 PM - 2:30 PM

The Center for Research and Mentoring of Black Male Students and Teachers [CRM-BMST] hosts a three-day event to commemorate the official opening of the student support and administrative office spaces. On Day 3, the CRM-BMST will host a luncheon for TLPD faculty, staff, administrators, and students to connect, network, and discuss how to serve Black male teacher candidates better collaboratively. TLPD faculty, staff, administrators, and students will learn more about the Center’s staff, leadership team, programs, services, and initiatives. This program will support extended conversations with faculty, staff, and administrators to improve collaborations and resource sharing to support all teacher candidates and programs better. Attendees can tour the Center’s administrative office spaces, the Brotherhood Student Success Hub, and Curriculum Lab. Students will share their experiences in the Center’s programs. The TLPD faculty meeting will occur at 2:30 pm in the Curriculum Lab on the 2nd floor of the Thurgood Marshall Library.
