The Institute will be virtual offering five different sessions including an opening remarks session:

Participants will be able to: Manage general Blackboard conventions including posting syllabus and announcements, taking attendance through Qwickly Attendance, posting grades and feedback to students.
- Student Engagement

Participants will be able to identify strategies to foster an inclusive and engaging classroom community.
Practice techniques for connecting students with course resources.
- Creating an Effective Lesson Plan

Participants will be able to develop a lesson plan that incorporates the elements of an effective lesson. The focus will be on developing the lesson plan around what works best given your content and student learning needs.
- Adobe Express
Join Via Zoom
Participants will be able to use adobe express in their classrooms.
- Q&A w/CETL Fellows
Join Via Zoom
Participants will be able to speak with CETL fellow and ask questions that range from faculty experience, how to navigate Bowie State University and much more.
