Peace Corps Info Session

The U.S. Peace Corps sends hundreds of volunteers around the world each year to promote peace and democratic values. Founded by an Executive Order issued by President Kennedy, Peace Corps has made the world a better place through the work of hundreds of thousands of volunteers over the years.

Volunteers are provided with a stipend and assigned a project to work on in their community after extensive training. Peace Corps Volunteers receive preferential treatment when applying for federal jobs.
