Prince George's Philharmonic X Bowie State Choir March Concert

For the March concert, the Philharmonic presents an All-American Program featuring Florence Price’s Symphony No. 3. We will also present the World Premiere of Haig Mardirosian’s Ritual of Dance. The concert opens with Aaron Copland’s Music for Movies, a work originally scheduled for the March 2020 concert program that was canceled due to COVID.
The combined choirs of the Bowie State University Choir, Brandon Felder, director, and Prince George’s County Choral Society, Kenneth Boucher, director, will offer opening selections, including the Star-Spangled Banner and Lift Every Voice.
