Meet and Greet: Artist Talk and Dialog with Victor Ekpuk

Introducing Mr. Victor Ekpuk. He has been selected by the BSU MLK Jr. Communication Arts and Humanities Building Committee as part of the Public Art Working Group, to create an outdoor sculpture on campus. This artist is creating a public art project that will be a part of the new Humanities Building at BSU. The Department of Fine and Performing Arts is happy to host the artist's talk that will begin with a presentation and end with Q & A to facilitate discussion. The campus community is welcome to learn about this very important stage of the public art process.  Artists working in this genre value engagement with the communities in which they work, so that the concepts they develop are reflective of their collective minds and spirits, as interpreted within the artist’s aesthetic.
