The Division of Academic Affairs is pleased to announce that the Search Committee for the position of Director of International Education and Services has selected an individual to participate in on-campus interview Wednesday, May 3, 2023. The candidate will discuss their qualifications, experience, and vision for global international education at Bowie State University. Students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to join the candidate's open forum in the Academic Affairs Conference Room.
Light refreshments will be served. Campus community members may also join open forums via ZOOM.

Ms. Whitney Morgan

With over 16 years of experience as an international educator in secondary and higher education institutions, Ms. Whitney Morgan is a dedicated International Education (IE) professional. She has been responsible for the oversight of university-wide global engagement practices, while continually working to build out global opportunities for all. Abroad and stateside, Ms. Morgan has worked on IE initiatives, which range from program ideation and implementation, student programming and advising, to curricular development and teaching. A committed champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within the IE sphere, Ms. Morgan is a Qualified Administrator for the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) Assessment. She earned a B.A. in Black World Studies from Ohio Wesleyan University and an M.A. in International Education from SIT Graduate Institute.
