Natural Sciences Day, Undergraduate Research Symposium

11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Greetings Bulldog Family!

Please join us on Tuesday, May 16, 2022, from 11:00am - 2:00pm to celebrate the Natural Sciences Department and its Undergraduate Research programs, right here in the CNSMN Building. The event will take place in CNSMN's Atrium. There will be games, prizes, food, amazing speakers, and more. We hope to see you there!

This event is a celebration of the history of the Department and honors the success of recent alumni who are STEM practitioners. The Course-Based Undergraduate Research Experiences (CURE) Program at Bowie State University is an innovative approach to incorporate research within a class so that everyone participates in exploring a question that is of interest to the scientific community. The Research Experience for Undergraduates is funded by the National Science Foundation and hosts students in faculty research labs, like the Dr. Anne Osano Laboratory for Plant Metabolomics. The Research Investigations students will also share their semester research, in collaboration with their faculty research mentors.

All are welcome - this event is free and open to the public.
