Ancestry History Makers Lunch & Learn

As Maryland's oldest, historically Black university, the Office of Multicultural Programs and Services and Office of Student Engagement intentionally connects students to Ancestry with opportunities for paid summer internships ,scholarships and free Ancestry DNA KITS. Last year this partnership was executed with Ancestry with 3 BSU scholars being awarded scholarships and several students were selected for the paid summer internship program. This year we have partnered with Ancestry in the United States with a goal of 100 student participation (undergraduate and graduate). At the end of the session participants will be able to: Identify paid summer internships, explain the importance of discovering our dna ancestry, and learn the best resume best practices.
