Change, it’s a good thing, right? Who wouldn’t want change, it benefits all - right? Maybe, and maybe it hurts us. Tears apart from the inside and breaks down the communities we’ve spent so much time trying to build up. Come to the east coast and make a stop at Prints & Kicks, Black owned pop up clothing shop new to the community that seemingly blew up overnight. Yet can this spark of success be maintained when gentrification creeps up around the corner?
Join BSU Theatre for its first full-length Incubator production, BUY BLACK (we don’t sell to your kind here) by BSU student Raymond Ingram. A professional theatre artist currently pursuing his theatre degree, Mr. Ingram’s story shares the power of community when the going gets tough.
Performances are Wednesday November 15 through Saturday November 18 @ 7:30pm
Saturday, November 18 @ 2:30pm, held in Bowie State University’s Black Box Theatre Fine and Performing Arts Center. Tickets available online and at the door.
