URBANZ Ripple Effect

7:30 PM

Join us for an enchanting evening of student-crafted monologues, scenes, and spoken word pieces, all inspired by the enduring legacy of African American artists in the Arts. Just as the echoes of Langston Hughes's questions in 'Harlem' resonate in Lorraine Hansberry's 'A Raisin in the Sun,' our students draw inspiration from the profound contributions of great African American creators.

'Ripple Effect' showcases the transformative power of artistic influence. Like pebbles tossed into a pond, the works of African American artists create ripples that touch and inspire generations to come. Through this event, BSU students will present their own original creations, reflecting the ongoing resonance of African American artistic voices in our lives today.

We're thrilled to welcome recent BSU Alumni to participate, adding depth and richness to our celebration. While our focus remains on highlighting the talent and creativity of our current students, all members of the BSU community and beyond are invited to join us for an evening of inspiration, connection, and celebration. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to witness the power of art to inspire and uplift!
