Going Home: The Afrofuture film screening, closing reception, artist talk

The BSU Gallery of Art, Department of Fine and Performing Arts presents GOING HOME. A special film screening followed by a closing reception for Afrofuture: Exploring the Past, Present, and Future. The event includes artist talk and more in the Recital Hall, Atrium, and BSU Gallery of Art.
The evening begins with a special BSU screening of "Black Fire Documentary" and a discussion with the filmmakers, producers and special guests. The event continues with poetry, monologue readings, dance, dialogue, and the afrofuturistic sounds of DJ Underdog. Artists from the exhibition will come to share in an engaging conversation about their work and the theme of Afrofuturism.
