- Some courses may include optional supplementary physical materials. These must be requested by instructors and are not included in the Follett Access Program. If needed, you can purchase them at our register or through the bookstore website.

For courses that do, the fee varies depending on the materials used and is generally lower than purchasing them elsewhere. Refer to the course list posted here to determine the fee associated with each participating course.

- In the portal, the opt-out button appears to the right of your listed courses.
- Complete the form using your student credentials before the deadline (the opt-out deadline usually aligns with the last date of add/drop).
- You’ll receive a confirmation email once your request is processed.
- Charges will not be waived after the opt-out deadline.

You must opt out of the Follett Access Program on a per-course basis. If you change your schedule before the last day of add/drop, the system will automatically update your access for any courses you add or drop.
If you add or drop a course after the last day of add/drop, your enrollment in the program may not update automatically. In that case, contact Donald Canfield at dcanfield@bowiestate.edu to ensure your access or opt-out status is correct.
