The Enrollment Services team is here to support you throughout the enrollment process at Bowie State University. We can help with admissions, financial aid, billing, scholarships, housing, registration, and other non-academic enrollment questions. Whether you are a prospective student, a current Bulldog or an alum, our team is committed to connecting you with the resources and support you need.

Virtual Appointments
For detailed or complex enrollment or account-related questions, schedule a virtual one-on-one session with a member of our team.
In-Person Appointments
Students who need additional support can schedule an in-person appointment with an advisor from the Enrollment Services team. This option is ideal for students who:
• Have follow-up questions after a virtual appointment
• Have more complex or unresolved concerns

How to Submit Official Transcripts
Electronic Transcript Services
We accept transcripts through the following verified providers: Parchment, National Student Clearinghouse, Scribble, WES, SpanTran, ECE, University of Maryland Institute for Maryland transfer students and SCO.
Email submission: Official transcripts must be sent directly from your high school, college or university to admissionsdocs@bowiestate.edu. We will not accept or review transcripts sent directly from students.

Academic Advising
Academic advising is separate from enrollment services and focuses on helping you stay on track toward graduation. Your academic advisor can help you understand degree requirements, select appropriate courses, monitor credit progress and develop an academic plan that supports your goals.
We strongly encourage you to stay in regular contact with your academic advisor and schedule an appointment before registering for classes. Visit the Academic Advisement Center portal page to schedule an appointment.
