2023 Shredding Event

This year’s event was held on Thursday, July 20, 2023 and produced almost 11.5 tons of paper! Services were provided by Briar Patch Shredding & Recycling LLC, which destroyed paper material on site on the truck from two campus locations. See below for details from this year's event.

Schedule

Thursday, July 20 from 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

  • Location 1:  Henry Circle 10:00am-12:00pm
    Truck will then move over to Lot G under the Solar canopy to start @ 12:30pm.

  • Location 2:  Lot G 12:30pm-2:30pm

Things to Keep in Mind

  • This is a courtesy event coordinated and paid for the Office of Facilities Management. We are servicing an entire campus at one time with limited resources and therefore not every aspect may be 100% convenient.
  • This is a ONE DAY event with ONE truck at 2 locations (starting off at Henry Circle and moving to Lot G/ JE Proctor Parking Lot).  Please be prepared.
