Working With the Career Development Center

While planning your syllabi and working around your conference schedules, you don't need to cancel a class. We are ready and willing to visit your classroom to facilitate a standard or customized workshop to match individual class needs and assignments, for the days you need to be away.

Referring Classes and Students

Referring students to the Career Development Center                 

We invite all students, undergraduate and graduate level, in all majors and academic programs to use our services. We provide individual career counseling by appointments and walk-ins. To schedule an appointment, students can call 301.860.3825.

Referring classes or groups to the Career Development Center for Assignments

If you wish to refer a group of students to the Career Development Center, whether for individual appointments, walk-in advising or for visits related to class assignments (practice interviews, Career Development Center tour, career assessment, or career resource library), please call us first, at least two weeks in advance, to discuss your goals and needs and the number of students involved. If you have a working relationship with one of our staff members, feel free to contact that person. Otherwise, please call 301.860.3825.
