Radio and TV Stations

WBSU Bulldog Nation Radio and BSU-TV provide high quality media production of campus projects, sporting and special events, as well as community and educational programs. While audiences access this engaging content through worldwide streaming, BSU communication students access something even more valuable – a first-rate education.

Expert faculty and staff ensure that students reach beyond the classroom to receive hands-on experience including, but not limited to:

  • Editing
  • Media career building
  • News gathering
  • Podcasting
  • Program development
  • Radio production
  • Sales and promotion
  • Streaming
  • Television broadcasting
  • Writing

This real-world training equips students with the skills they need to develop careers in the broadcasting industry. With guidance from communications professor and veteran broadcaster Dr. Otis Thomas, BSU-TV and WBSU radio stations have made major strides in the transition from analog to digital technology. These upgrades provided a fresh look and an advanced approach to live, on-air production and quality programming.

Viewers can watch BSU-TV on Comcast 74 or Verizon 43.
