Cyber Day 2025: Deep Defense Data and Cyber Frontiers
Deep Defense: Data & Cyber Frontiers
Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025, 10:30 am - 12:30 pm | Martin Luther King, Jr. Center
As attacks grow more sophisticated, protecting an organization takes more than a single barrier at the perimeter. Deep defense layers protections across systems, data, and people so that when one control fails, others hold. This year's theme examined how that approach is evolving as artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure, and connected devices expand the surface attackers can reach, and what it means for the professionals entering the field.
This year's event drew more than 100 participants for keynotes and research demos exploring data protection, cyber resilience, and digital defense strategies.
Keynote Speakers
Top industry experts explored this year's theme, sharing insight into current threats, trends, and the skills the cybersecurity field demands.
Research Demos & Posters
Attendees explored groundbreaking research from the BSU Cyber Research Lab, the NSF CyberCorps Scholarship for Service (SFS) Program, and SURI scholars.
