Everyday Glow
Thesis Statement
My senior thesis exhibition aims to embody Everee Sinclair’s vision for her brand, Everyday Glow. Everee’s hopes to promote and encourage self care in various ways such as beauty, skin care and hosting events. Throughout the pandemic she found a passion not only for skincare but life coaching as well. My biggest inspiration is a graphic designer named Daysia Taylor, she creates logos, flyers, labels, business cards and websites for businesses. She also teaches people about graphic design and how to create logos and how to market yourself. For this project, my goal was to use different adobe software to create different advertising elements to really help elevate this business and make it the best it can be to help spread self-care, love and success to everyone while keeping black women and men at the forefront of the campaign. I created some advertising components including a website layout, product packaging, advertising posters, and promotional pieces for social media. I wanted to keep a feminine approach to this whole campaign to really appeal to women, as right now that is the main focus of the brand. Some of my inspirations are Ayele & Co skincare, Urban skin rx, Base Butter and BLK+GRN.

My senior thesis exhibition aims to embody Everee Sinclair’s vision for her brand, Everyday Glow. Everee’s hopes to promote and encourage self care in various ways such as beauty, skin care and hosting events. Everyday Glow is a brand meant to empower both women and men to embrace both their inner and outer glow not just in skincare but within every aspect of their daily lives.
Throughout the pandemic she found a passion not only for skincare but life coaching as well. For this project, I was able to work with Everee to create a series of advertising components including a website layout, product packaging, advertising posters, and promotional pieces for her brand. As black women we wanted to go with the theme of “black girl magic” and keep a feminine approach to this whole campaign to really appeal to women, because as of right now women are the main focus of the brand. We did not have any major inspirations. For these pieces, we wanted to keep everything simple, elegant and neutral with gold accents. Our biggest inspiration was simply black women. While this brand is inclusive to all races we wanted black women to be at the forefront of the brand because in today’s society black women are not catered to as much as others.
