Professor John Sesay graduated with a Master of Science Degree in neuropharmacology of opiates and memory in both rodents and non-human primates from Wake Forest School of Medicine. His research was on tracking the changes in hippocampal population nonlinear dynamics in rats learning a memory-dependent task. He furthered my education at St. George's University School of Medicine and gained a comprehensive understanding of basic and clinical sciences.
Since joining the faculty of Natural Sciences at Bowie State University, his research and teaching have been dedicated to enhancing students' experiments with scientific processes, nurturing their skills, and inspiring them to excel in biomedical and biotechnology fields and pursue higher education.Teaching and laboratory research are his passions. At Bowie State University, Professor Sesay teaches various biological Science courses, including anatomy and physiology, and serves as a lead tutor.

Dr. Tolutope O. Siyanbola is a materials science and renewable energy specialist with interdisciplinary expertise in sustainable materials, polymer science, renewable energy technologies, functional coatings, and corrosion protection. He is a Chemistry researcher and academic whose work focuses on environmentally sustainable, bio-based materials and advanced coating systems for corrosion control, antimicrobial protection, renewable energy, and environmental sustainability.
Dr. Siyanbola has extensive research experience in vegetable-oil-derived polyurethane coatings, hybrid nanocomposites, biodegradable materials, biomass conversion, and renewable energy resources. His interdisciplinary research integrates Chemistry, materials science, and sustainability to address challenges in energy security and environmental protection.
As a Lead Tutor in Chemistry at Bowie State University, Dr. Siyanbola supports student learning, academic success, and STEM education through student-centered Chemistry instruction and academic mentoring. He helps students develop analytical, problem-solving, laboratory, quantitative-reasoning, and scientific-communication skills. He also mentors students, promotes STEM engagement, and connects chemistry concepts with contemporary scientific and societal challenges.

Eltice Langmia is a graduate student in the M.S. Applied Biotechnology and Molecular Biology program at Bowie State University. She holds a background in Biochemistry and has experience across academic, research, and clinical laboratory settings. Her academic and professional experiences have provided her with a strong foundation in biological and chemical sciences, as well as a passion for learning, mentorship, and student success.Eltice has participated in research spanning drug delivery, medicinal chemistry, and molecular biology, and has also gained professional laboratory experience through her work in clinical laboratory medicine.

Abigail-Faith Mokosso is a sophomore student-athlete at Bowie State University preparing to enter the Nursing Program in Spring 2027. Throughout her academic journey, she has gained exceptional, valuable hands-on experience by completing Introductory Biology, Human Anatomy & Physiology I, and General Chemistry.She has a deep love and passion for science and wants to take her scientific knowledge into various medical fields. She is very organized, clear, and patient, and she wants to provide students with a comfortable, relaxed environment that fosters ease and understanding. Her goal is to help students understand not only what they are learning, but why it matters and how course concepts connect to real-world situations and future careers.
Additionally, she wants to help students develop effective study habits, including note-taking strategies, study techniques, and approaches for preparing for exams, tests, and assignments to ensure maximum success.
