Child & Adolescent Studies Minor

 

The Department of Behavioral Sciences & Human Services offers a minor for non-majors. Through this programs, students explore specific interests that align with their career goals while pursuing a major in a different field.

Minor

Students seeking to minor must meet with a faculty advisor to design a program based on the students' needs and program requirements. See an academic advisor for list of approved courses.

Child & Adolescent Studies Minor

This minor provides students with a broad understanding of child and adolescent development, legal and ethical considerations, sociological issues and family dynamics. The interdisciplinary approach to studying children and teens will prepare students to work with young people in a variety of settings.
