Student Learning Outcomes

Students will:

  1. Demonstrate knowledge of data as presented in statistical forums or day-to-day regular media (e.g., Gallup polls).
  2. Identify social problems in society and come up with solutions based on scientific research.
  3. Show command of theories related to the evolvement of society from simple (hunter gatherer stage) to the complex post-industrialsociety and be able to explain what is driving social issues presently.
  4. Exemplify critical reading and writing, both basic and technical, and be well-equipped in a liberal arts tradition.
