Program Requirements
Students who enter the Honors Program as freshmen or sophomores must:
- Complete 24 Honors credits
- Complete honors general education courses in areas where they are offered
- Complete 200 hours of documented community service
- Maintain continuous enrollment in classes and an overall GPA of 3.5
- Attend 16 cultural events
- Attend monthly Honors Program meetings
- Take at least one graduate or professional school examination
Students who enter the Honors Program as juniors must:
- Earn 12 Honors credits with a grade of “B” or better in each course
- Maintain continuous enrollment in classes and an overall GPA of 3.5
- Complete 100 hours of community service
- Attend 8 cultural events
- Attend monthly Honors Program meetings
- Take at least one graduate or professional school examination
