The Bowie State University Gallery of Fine Art is an integral part of the Department of Fine and Performing Arts.
In addition to art exhibitions, the gallery also supports curricular activities in the B.A. in Fine Arts, Studio Art concentration, and the B.S. in Visual Communication and Digital Media Arts (VCDMA) programs.
Located in the Fine and Performing Arts Center (FPAC), the gallery is home to our BSU Permanent Art Collection. The gallery hosts two student exhibitions per semester, as well two exhibitions featuring local and national artists who are concerned with the human condition and our creative experiences broadly.
