Due to inclement weather, Bowie State University will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026. All classes, office operations and on-campus activities are canceled. Residence halls will remain open. Application Process

Applicants seeking admission into the Nursing (MSN) program must:

  1. Complete both applications:
  1. Submit three recommendations from an immediate supervisor and two professional colleagues. Forms are included with the nursing program application
  2. Submit one copy of your current RN licensure verification and one copy of your current CPR certification
  3. Submit a 150- to 200-word personal statement of goals and objectives for pursuing graduate nursing study. It must be typed and double-spaced.
